I will list my project at the outset giving notice that I have never restored a car before. I would love to rotissere it but don't have the experience to do it myself. Back in the late 60's I owned one of these fairly rare A56 cuda's but at the time..well who would have known. Sold it, they totaled it.  So now 40 years later I'm going to save this one.  I have an abused #'s matching B7 blue 69 A56 cuda that I recently picked up in Minnesota (salt, rust etc). I ripped up the carpet (rust!!) ,pulled the seats and the mouse chewed headliner. I noticed that the pcensored. door was from a 68 cuda so I replaced it with a really nice 69 door shell. Having a heck of a time getting the window out of the 68. It appears that the window sits in a track with a plastic grommit of sorts holding it in place. Not quite sure how to remove it without busting the window. I thought about soaking it with some brake clean and tapping it with a rubber mallet but... Also no buildsheet except for the partial one stuck to the right side pcensoredenger floor (can not remove it). I have posted a slide show that I rec'd before I purchased the car. You can see the rust in the inner fenders, rockers etc. It also had rust repairs on the rear quarters. I need parts and hopefully I'll find a restoration facility that I can afford. Thanks for any help suggestions or comments

Hello again from Chris Kane Smiley

If you are looking for an answer to a restoration question, then this would be the place to put it.  As this forum is new, please don't expect an answer until we get some more members to the board.  But still, if you have a question and post it, it will draw people to the board and you might get an answer.  So don't be shy, register and add your question!

Hey everyone!  If you look up at the navigation bar, you'll see "Gallery".  That's where any member can upload his/her own vehicle photos.  It's also a great place to upload photos of work that you are doing and are asking for help/advice on.  So take advantage of it!!

Hello, I would like to welcome you Mopar fans to the site!

We just started up here and I guess it will be very slow until we get some people on board.  I would like to start off by saying that this forum is going to be in the hands of the posters.  I will try to be on here to browse around from time to time, but the shop has me busy most of my life (you know how it is).

I have a great administrator (my brother-in-law) taken care of this site for me.  And should you have any site related questions, you can find him here under the name of celtic_traveler.  He'll be trying to keep the spam off the site and keeping it organized as possible.  Again, most of the interactions will be from YOU, the forum users/contributors!

Have fun and keep those muscle cars roaring!!!
